I just read this book and it blew me away!! The author is even on tumblr! here is his blog : http://secret-origin-studios.tumblr.com/
It’s a great teenage/adult Oz story which I highly recommend.
These are all disturbing and wrong. NONONO. I can’t live on this planet anymore.

jacoblovesozzz asked: How does Dorothy actually die in the books?
She doesn’t :) Dorothy, Aunt Em and Uncle Henry all go to live in Oz permanently after Aunt Em and Uncle Henry are forced to foreclose on their Kansas farm. Nobody dies of old age or disease in Baum’s Oz so Dorothy and her Aunt and Uncle live there happily with Ozma and her friends.
I haven’t been updating the Oz blog because I have been diligently working on my next book! I’m a ghost writer and it will be the first book published under my own name, and will be a book based off the Land of Oz.
This novel has been in the works for about 3 years now and is nearing a second draft which is a great stage to be in for a writer!
I am reaching out to people from Illinois and Kansas to help me work on accents and slang used in the novel.
Ruth Thompson’s book The Royal Book of Oz (the first Oz book NOT written by Baum) is also the first book to admit residents of Oz can die.
